Annual All Chip Carvers Workshop at the Barry McKenzie School for Chip Carving in Lebanon, Missouri  


Date: August 3, 2010 Saturday Only. Completed


Cost: $65.00 per person


Limited to first 4 carvers registering.      No Deposit required.


Need to register before attending workshop


Hours: Sat. 9 AM to 5 PM. 1 hour for lunch. Light snacks provided.


All supplies and materials included.


Pre-sharpened chip carving knife required. Need a knife check with me first.    


Class outline: Understanding the mechanics of chip carving and WHY it works that way on wood with practice How it works that way in wood. Work on sample ornaments. No large class project in a one day workshop.


This is a comprehensive chip carving learning workshop. Using all the styles and methods of chip carving. And much more such as: wood grain, sharpening, finishing, drafting techniques and design concepts.


I consider this an advanced chip carving class that beginner chip carvers can learn chip carving the right way.


In every workshop I cover the popular by demand  icicle Christmas Tree Ornaments. With the recent development of my "NEW" Leaf Design we will cover the full development of the leaf design in chip carving. If you have a specific area of chip carving you need help with let me know and we can solve it.

An Outdoor selling show. Part of a 1800's living museum from when the German imagrants settle here in Missouri. This is held in a beatiful setting under the huge oak trees with many other crafters here. Great food and fun time.
