Chip Carving Studio/Museum/Showroom

Located at the Barry McKenzie School for Chip Carving  in Lebanon, Missouri on the "Mother Road" Route 66 from Chicago to L.A..

The Studio/Mesum/Showroom is located in the Barry McKenzie School for Chip Carving that is located outside of city limits on the outer road west of I-44 between the little town of Sleeper and Lebanon.

Turning on Route 66 at the Best Western Motel located at exit 130 go 3.2 miles east or north (the compass points north) on the outer road. The barn faces Route 66 and is log cabin sided.

Over a period of many years "Old World" style and traditional chip carving has been purchased or chip carved by Barry for the show room.

A trip to the Netherlands August 2003 more items where purchased and can be found in the Chip Carvers Studio/Meseum/Showroom.

Others chip carved items have been heavily influenced by my trips to Switzerland, Sweden and northern Italy.

Most of my chip carving that I will not sell and have designated to go to my grandchildren are located in my Studio/Workshop/Showroom or decorating our home.

Plan on taking a few hours if you wish to see and study all of the chip carving in the Show Room.

The sign out front of the barn reads "Please Call Ahead" 417-532-8434." If I'm there I will gladly open up. I have no fixed hours.

I'm always adding more chip carvings all the time that some I do sell. Have questions on chip carving? This is the place to stop off at on your way to Branson, Missouri (2 hours away) or passing by Lebanon, Missouri on I-44 highway.

"Out goal is to preserve chip carving as we practice it today and to promote chip carving for the enjoyment of tomorrow."
